The Polterabend is a joy group that happens the day dating a german woman or week before the marriage. It’s a noisy colloquial bash where all of the woman’s friends and family come up for refreshments and a good time. During this group, the couple and their friends may split a bunch of enamel and china, which is believed to bring fine success to the union.
